About The Giving League
The Giving League is a passion project of Nate McGee, who wanted to marry his networking skills and his love/hate relationship with fantasy football in hopes of making the world just a tiny bit better.
With the overwhelming success and popularity of the inaugural 2024 season, we'll be doing a second season in 2025 that'll be even bigger and better than the first!
For the original players, not much has changed, and for the rookies, the setup is simple... professionals join a massive fantasy football league - 50% of the buy-in goes to the winner and 50% goes to Good Sports.
If you're not familiar, Good Sports is a charitable organization that drives equitable access in youth sports and physical activity, by supporting children in high-need communities to achieve their greatest potential, on the field and in life.
Last year, the 48 participants raised $2,400 for Good Sports, which was enough to supply gear to 120 kids!! And made a nice payday of $2,400 to our inaugural Champion, Ryan Foshage.
This year, the goal is to raise $3,600. With a one-time buy-in of $100, we'd need 72 participants to reach that goal. 72 participants also means the winner takes home $3,600 for themselves!
If you'd like to join the league, please sign up via the adjacent fields and be on the lookout for an email from Nate McGee at nathan.mcgee49@gmail.com. If you played last year, you will still need to sign up for this season!
Not sure about joining until you see the rules? Feel free to scroll down and find a basic overview of the rules, schedule, etc.
Not into fantasy football, but you still want to donate? I'm honored and so appreciative! Feel free to do so here. Please note, if you intend to play in the league then there is no need to donate directly to The Good Sports as your donation will be applied at the end of the season.
Thanks and good luck!
-Nate

The full League will be divided amongst multiple sub-leagues. Each sub-league will have the same quantity of participants (as best as possible). Each sub-league will have standard H2H matches through Week 13 of the NFL season.
After which, the top two teams from each sub-league will move on to the "playoffs" and face the other top-2 teams from every other sub-league. Yes, that means you could have Christian McCaffery going against Christian McCaffery in the finals.
In the "playoffs" there will be no H2H, instead it will be based on Points For. The teams that score in the top half of the "playoff" pool advance and the bottom half are eliminated.
In Week 17, only two teams will remain and one Champion will be crowned.

Payment must be submitted by 9/5/24 @ 8:00am or you will be disqualified
